Pastor Ramadan served as pastor the Toraan Baptist Church for around 30 years until he resigned few years ago. He died at his home after long chronic illness. He left after him his wife and partner in ministry Fida and 3 children who are all active in ministry. His son Saleem is a longtime educator and a servant within churches in Galilee. His second son Fadi leads the Children Evangelism Fellowship in Israel. His daughter Samia Shehadeh works as a nurse and lives in Haifa.

Kofor-Yassef Baptist church was founded in 1940, as a result of a revival in eastern Jordan and Palestine, because of an amazing event that occurred to the sister Mrs.Em Saleem Kawaar, in Amman (Jordan) in 1933.
