Back To Jerusalem 2009

Last Saturday the three days conference entitled "Back to Jerusalem" (08-10\07\2009) ended. There was a multicultural participation, Arabs and foreign from different countries, South Africa, Sudan, England, and America. Nevertheless, the foreign participants had been hosted, the week after the conference, by believers from different towns and villages in order to help with building God's Kingdom with the Israeli Arab believers.

Global Day Of Prayer 2009Global day of prayer 2009 event took place in Nazareth on Pentecost Sunday the 31st in the Golden Crown hotel. Where hundreds of believers from all over the land has gathered to pray and intercede for the land. In addition many also have joined the locals via the Internet, during the online broadcasting of the event on Linga wesite. Global day of prayer this year was a historic moment event all over the world due to the fact that this year all the world with the 220 nations, have united in one prayer each for their lands and people.
 
The death of Pastor Suhail Ramadan

suhailramadanPastor Ramadan served as pastor the Toraan Baptist Church for around 30 years until he resigned few years ago. He died at his home after long chronic illness. He left after him his wife and partner in ministry Fida and 3 children who are all active in ministry. His son Saleem is a longtime educator and a servant within churches in Galilee.
 
31 people Baptized in the Jordan River

31 people BaptizedOn Saturday, September 29, 2007 a very unique baptismal service took place at the baptismal site on the Jordan River, just south of the Sea of Galilee. More than 200 people from across the Galilee region were in attendance. The service saw 32 new believers baptized: 19 from Kufur Yaseef and 13 from Eilaboun.
 
Three New Deacons

18th of October, 2007, in the Evangelical Baptist church, Kofor-Yassif, a service took place to asign three new Deacons: Mary Sabbah, Alis Farah, and Rania Khoury. During the service, Pastor Khalid Dally preached, tought, and gave advices to the new asigned Deacons about their God calling job. The preaching was followed by prayer for special blessing.

 
The Children's Christmas Party.

On the 15th of December, 2007, the children's special christmas party took place in the church.
As every year, the well known children minister, Fady Abu Hanna, took over the service and gave a wonderful preformance of special christmas songs, Bible passages, games, and a dummyplay that told the special story of christmas; the birth of our king the lord Jesus Christ.

 
Church Leaders' special conference

Few members of our church went to the leaders confrence in Jordan from the 5th through the 7th of December, 2007.
There were forty new and more experienced leaders that attended the conference from the Evangelical church in Israel.
